Hai Roshan,

As far as your 2nd question is concerned , The system can not find any plant and hence will throw an error.

The system will decide the plant in the following sequence...
a) CMIR
b) CMR
c) MMR , If not found in all the three, It will throw error that no plant is maintained for the material... Correct me if i was wrong...

For your 1st qus, i will get back soon...

Regards,

Safeer Rahman

Hi sir manoj here.
Difference between master data and Transaction data .
Ans-1 .Master data is that type of data which remains unchanged over a long period of time.It cotains information that is always needed in the same way .With master data u r dealing with attributes, texts, hierarchies.Where as data relating to day to day transactions is known as transaction data.
2 .Master data form the basis of the sd processing. It is the highest level of data and thus it has the largest effect on the standard business process. It covers broder aspect where as transaction data covers a smaller portion .
3 .Master data is static in nature where as transaction data can be changed on daily basis .
