A: We can't have different distribution channel at the header and item level. This is mainly because the products belong to a particular divison. For convenience purpose when a customer orders for different products a single sales order can be created. But the function of delivery channel is different and usually the customer belongs to a particular distribution channel.
2 What is the difference between itemcatgory group and general item category group?
A: General Item category Group is irrespective of Sales Organisation whereas Item Category Group is for particular Sales Organisation
3 Under what business scenarios do we have to use condition types for both header and item level.
A: Conditions such as Freight or Insurance can be used both as header and item. It is given as header so as to reduce the effort. This header value can be divided at the item level or the same value can be assigned to all the items.
